New Employment Act, 2007 and The Industrial Court Act, 2011One of the most important, ant development in the industrial and labour relations in Kenya is the enactment of the Employment Act 2007 and the Industrial Court Act, 2011.

The two pieces of registration are expected to have far reaching effects on matters related to Industrial and employment relations.

The Employment Acts 2007 is designed to regulate all matters concerning employment matters, employees and employe's rights and salary regulations.

The Industrial Court is established with the aim of having a court with the status of a superior court which shall have jurisdiction on all matters related to industrial and labour relations and settlement of disputes emanating from employment and trade unions.

Our company have found it necessary to compile a book containing both Acts to assist employer and the general public with information on matters related to industrial and employment relations.
